Lori Miller, blind since she was 2, was the first ND alum to complete a triathlon blind. Her guides were (L to R) Fernando Carvalho, Brian Carter, Annie Sawicki and Joe Durand with Lori in front.

She was very nervous on the swim portion and began gaining confidence throughout the bike and finished 5 minutes faster than our goals.

For her to place 116th out of 155 is absolutely a testimonial to all that it can be done.
